Blackletra is a digital type foundry established in 2012 by Brazilian type designer Daniel Sabino. Based in São Paulo, the foundry develops custom and retail typefaces, as well as lettering and logotypes. Blackletra's typefaces combine historical interest with calligraphic influences and unique ideas. Notable works include 'Elza', a versatile sans-serif typeface, and 'Haltrix', a connected script with blackletter influences.
