Death of Typography (DOT) is a Singaporean type collective founded in 2021 by Visual Communication alumni Sylvia Low, Qiu Wen, and Yen Wee.The collective practices, researches, and explores typography through creative inquiry and collaboration.They operate a type foundry and offer a type design mentorship program, aiming to provide resources and guidance to young designers.Their notable typefaces include 'DT Straits Sans' and 'DT Getai Grotesk.' Additionally, DOT conducts workshops and collaborative projects, such as 'CoTYPE,' to foster discourse on the local design ecosystem.
