KOBU Foundry is a Portuguese type foundry established in July 2019 by KOBU Agency, with type designer Brígida Guerreiro leading its creation. Integrating storytelling and interactive elements inspired by classic video games, KOBU Foundry brings a playful narrative approach to type design. Notable typefaces include Sakasu, Taiyo, and KOBU Text, each reflecting a distinct visual identity. The foundry’s website earned an Honorable Mention from Awwwards in April 2020.
