Lineto, established in 1993 by Cornel Windlin and Stephan Müller, is a Swiss type foundry renowned for its innovative typefaces and contributions to digital typography. Notable works include Alpha Headline, designed by Windlin in 1991, and Akkurat, created by Laurenz Brunner in 2004, which won the Swiss Federal Design Award in 2006. Other significant typefaces are LL Circular and LL Brown, both designed by Brunner. In 2007, Jürg Lehni joined the venture, further enhancing its creative direction.
