Gantenbein, originally from the Swiss Alps, completed his education in Visual Communication at the Bern University of Arts and has held design positions in London, Santiago de Chile, and Zurich. Luzi Type, founded by Luzi Gantenbein in 2013, specializes in creating high-quality, versatile typefaces, including Albaro, Beirut, Faro, and Messina Serif. The foundry has collaborated with clients like Blasercafé, Holzbau Küng, and the State Archives of Baden-Württemberg, providing custom typefaces for branding and identity design.
